Our Mission
To unite Mbube sons and daughters in public and civil service through a disciplined, accountable and inclusive system of welfare, empowerment and representation.
The Mbube Workers Welfare Association (MWWA) was formed by the sons and daughters of Mbube serving across Nigeria’s public and civil service sectors. Inspired by a common heritage of excellence, service and unity, they resolved to move from individual efforts to coordinated action at both National and Branch levels.
The Association acknowledges the enduring legacy of the Mbube people of Ogoja Local Government Area, Cross River State, and is committed to the wellbeing of present and future generations of Mbube professionals.
Mbube workers organise to support one another and the homeland.
Registered as a corporate body by the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja (Reg. No. 8593492).
Our official website opens for registration, dues payment and announcements.

The supreme governing authority. It supervises Branches, approves policies, budgets and elections, and represents the Association nationally.
The National General Assembly (all financial members) is the supreme legislative body. Each recognised Branch has its own General Assembly.
The Branch Executive Committee runs daily affairs, while the Expanded Executive Committee (past and present officers and patrons) offers advice and institutional memory.
Parliamentary-style elections, one representative per community, leadership rotating between Mbube East and Mbube West, with two-year terms.
The NEC is the apex disciplinary authority, with fair sanctions for breaches of the Association’s rules and obligations.
Branches can be established across Nigeria, each with its own leadership and one bank account, under the oversight of the NEC.
